Programs are offered indoors, outdoors and sometimes both. Indoor programs such as presentations, workshops, study circles, video discussions are held in the Center’s meeting room. Solstices and equinoxes are celebrated on the surrounding 270 acres of land. Outdoor programs include pond experiences, walks featuring wildflowers, birds, tracking and full moon hikes. Groups may request a special program to accommodate their needs.
Pre- registration is required for all programs. If finances are the only thing keeping you from coming, call and we can suggest an alternative.
We are available to bring some of our offerings to other sites. If you are interested in having a program at your place, please contact us to discuss type of program, date, and fee.
Believing in the value of connecting children with their natural environment and fostering a respect for all of creation early in life, the Center collaborates with schools to supplement their curriculum by presenting at the school or through field trips to the Center. Programs to help scouts meet their badge requirements are also offered.
